OREM, Utah (AP) — Police in Orem are searching for suspects who have shot out the windows of more than 100 cars and 10 structures in the past week.
The Daily Herald reported Friday that Orem police spokesman Craig Martinez says the suspects are believed to be driving around in a car with a BB gun.
Martinez says they appear to randomly shoot at any car, home or business.
So far, no injuries have been reported in the incidents.
Police are raising the number of officers out on the patrol in hopes of catching any suspects.
Martinez says they are also asking residents to remain observant.
A $500 reward is being offered for anyone with information that leads to an arrest and charges.
