SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Adoption Exchange got a financial boost as KSL's Wednesday's Child Telethon wrapped up Wednesday.

KSL viewers, listeners and readers donated $49,500 during the annual telethon. The funds will help pay expenses at the Adoption Exchange, which helps foster children looking for permanent homes.

Wednesday's telethon featured several children who are up for adoption as well as profiles of families who have adopted from the exchange.

KSL has partnered with the Adoption Exchange for the past five years.

Even though the telethon is over, donations are still being accepted.
