Corporal Haley Millet was driving when she noticed a small fire growing beneath the car in front of her.

She got the car over to the side of the road, and when she approached the driver's door, found the woman, who was unable to get out.

Millet pulled her to safety just as the entire car became engulfed in flames.

"I was carrying her back to my car, she stated her car had started to smoke, and I said, 'actually, ma'am, your car is on fire.' She had no idea," Millet said.

Millet said she loves to serve others whether it's in her military position or her civilian job, and today she's just glad she was at the right place at the right time.
