HIGHLAND — Three people were transported to hospitals in serious to critical condition Monday night following a crash in Highland, officials said.
A Jeep was traveling northbound on Highland Dr. near 11800 N. around 7:00 p.m. Monday when a smaller vehicle turned in front of it. The Jeep struck the smaller vehicle, according to Battalion Chief Rick Howard of Lehi Fire Department.
A mother and daughter were in the smaller vehicle, Howard said. The daughter, aged between 20 and 30, was transported by life flight to Utah Valley Hospital in extremely serious condition after experiencing a traumatic arrest, according to Howard. The mother was transported by air to Intermountain Medical Center in critical condition.
The driver of the Jeep was transported by ground unit to Intermountain Medical Center, Howard said. Further information will be updated when it becomes available.
