LEHI — It has been a little more than a month since a horrible accident shook the lives of the Lehi community. Two-year-old Tallin Harding, better known as "Tui" to his family and friends, died after being hit by an SUV while riding his scooter in his neighborhood.

Although it has been a trying time for the family, the community has proven even the toughest tragedy can be turned into treasure.

“What we are trying to do at this point is make it a positive,” Al Cameron, Tui’s grandfather, said.

Cameron, along with neighbors and friends, started a Facebook page in honor of the 2-year-old’s life.

Tui had a love for two things: the BYU Cougars and superheros.

“Lets share Tui’s love for superheros with the world,” Cameron said, and that’s how Tui’s treasures started.

The Facebook page sparked hundreds of people across the world to plant superhero “treasures” everywhere: in parks, airplanes and stores in Tui’s memory. Each superhero toy comes with an attached message that reads: “In loving memory of Tui Harding, Tui has selected you to be a part of his superhero crew. Tui has hidden toys all over the world for others to enjoy, please join us in keeping his memory alive by sharing a picture of you and your treasure on this Facebook page. As a crew member you can hide your own superhero treasure for others to find. Lets help the world #LiveAndLaughLikeTui”

“Tui was all about laughter and smiling, and that’s what we want to remember; that’s what we want to bring to other people,” Cameron said.
