LAYTON — A diesel spill that delayed traffic for an hour Friday morning has been cleared near northbound I-15 and Antelope Drive.
The diesel spill occurred around 11 a.m., according to Layton City officials. The details about the accident that caused the spill were not immediately available, but Layton Fire hazardous materials crews were dispatched to the scene.
Utah Highway Patrol reported that eight gallons were spilled and traffic was delayed for several hours during the cleanup. The scene was cleaned up and traffic was cleared around 12:40 p.m., UHP said.
