WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) — A Utah man has been arrested in the western North Dakota oil patch hub of Williston for pointing a gun at three people at a bar.
KXMB-TV reports Jason Fritz, of Taylorsville, Utah, has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, possessing a firearm at a bar and fleeing an officer.
Court records show Fritz got into an argument, took out a gun, "cocked it" and pointed it at three individuals. Police say officers were called to the scene and found Fritz in a parking lot. He tried to run away when police began to confront him.
Records show officers found a 9 mm pistol and a magazine in the parking lot.
Court records don't list an attorney for Fritz.
