SALT LAKE CITY — Want a high-quality holiday meal, but don’t want to wash a lot of dishes?
A number of restaurants in Utah are offering special courses to celebrate Thanksgiving. We compiled a list of a few tasty spots to aid in your holiday planning.
Making reservations early or calling ahead is recommended. Many of the restaurants accept reservations online.
This neighborhood restaurant is serving up four-course holiday meals from 3 - 8 p.m. Visitors have the option of starting off their dinner with either butternut squash soup or baby spinach salad, followed by fried green tomatoes or pan-seared scallops.
There are three options for the main course: roasted turkey with mashed potatoes and stuffing; prime rib with wild mushrooms and potatoes au gratin; or a 10-ounce bone in pork chop with sweet potato mash. The meal is completed with a pumpkin cheese cake or chocolate raspberry pot de creme for dessert.
The Thanksgiving dinner costs $45 dollars per person, or $65 per person with wine pairings.

The American-French restaurant is offering a four-course Thanksgiving menu from 12 - 6 p.m. It’s menu can be viewed online. The first course features a sous vide duck leg basteeya, and the second is a beet, cranberry, sesame and white chocolate soup.
For the third course, guests will receive a six-day brined turkey breast with parsnip gratin and sage braised Colorado lamb short rib, in addition to a butter-whipped russet potato and sage-pomegranate gravy. Dessert includes a curry and vanilla bean pumpkin tart, and whipped cream ice cream.
The course costs $55 per person, or $25 for each child 12 years old and under.

Brunch at the luxurious hotel’s ballroom is already sold out for the holiday, but those who want a tasty start to the day may still be in luck. A Thanksgiving Day breakfast buffet is being offered at The Garden Cafe from 6:30 - 10 a.m. for $17 per adult and $8.50 per child between the ages of 5 and 12. Children who are 4 years old and younger eat for free.
Later in the day, The Garden Cafe is offering a Thanksgiving Prix Fixe Dinner from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for $39 per adult. The menu features a first course of roasted butternut squash salad and then a choice of four entrees for the second course — slow roasted prime rib, lobster pot pie, grilled pork tenderloin or roasted turkey. It comes with a dessert buffet.
Children between the ages of 5 and 11 can select what they want to eat from a food buffet that Thanksgiving favorites like turkey and mashed potatoes, in addition to other items like macaroni and cheese and mini corn dogs. Kids 4 years old and under eat for free.

Grub Steak Restaurant =====================
This rustic restaurant is offering a special Thanksgiving menu from 2 - 8 p.m. Guests can choose from a butternut squash and McIntosh apple soup or salad to start, followed by the main course of roasted turkey with harvest vegetable stuffing and homemade mashers. Dessert is a choice of pumpkin pie or spiced apple bread pudding.
The Thanksgiving special costs $28.75 per adult or $14.75 for children under the age of 12. The restaurant’s full dining menu will also be available.

This Sugarhouse oyster bar is opening on Thanksgiving with a special holiday menu. Guests can opt to order a herb-crusted turkey roulade, complete with dried cherry and cimini stuffing, in addition to whipped potatoes and a sweet potato mousse.
The Thanksgiving dinner is $24 per adult, $16 per child between the ages of 6 and 12, and $10 for children ages 3-5. The restaurant’s regular dinner menu will also be available.

The Little America Hotel has three options for those looking to eat out on Thanksgiving. A buffet with a selection of holiday favorites will be held in the grand ballroom from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. It costs $50 per adult or $24 per child. Those 4 years old and younger eat for free.
Guests at Lucky H Bar & Grille can choose from three entrees — roast turkey over apple sage dressing for $25.95, sterling silver prime rib or beef for $28.95, or poached stuffed salmon for $26.95. Each order comes with a soup or salad, in addition to a choice of pumpkin pie, pecan pie, marble cheesecake, pumpkin bar, chocolate ganache cake or bread pudding for dessert.
The Coffee Shop at the hotel also has a special Thanksgiving menu, including options of roast turkey and pepper-crusted prime rib.

Log Haven is offering a four-course plated luncheon in celebration of Thanksgiving. The first course includes a choice of wild rice and leek soup, braised wild mushrooms with parmesan polenta and balsamic, or smoked cheddar and ham. The second course features a romaine and lentil salad.
For the entree, guests can opt to partake of alderwood-smoked salt and pepper turkey with stuffing and mashed potatoes, grilled king salmon, or seared black Angus New York steak, or chanterelle mushroom risotto. There are three desserts available — a pumpkin creme brulee, maple ice cream with huckleberry sauce and candied walnuts, and pecan pie with whipped cream.
The Thanksgiving dinner is $49.95 per person, or $24.95 for children under the age of 12.

Tucanos is adding a number of Thanksgiving favorites to its churrasco. Guests can enjoy a variety of turkey preparations — baked, fried or grilled — in addition to all-you-can-eat filet mignon, mashed potatoes, stuffing, candied yams, green bean casserole and pumpkin pie.
The meal costs $29.95 per person or $11.95 per child between the ages of 7 and 12. Children under the age of 7 eat for free. The Thanksgiving meal runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Tuscany will be offering a traditional Thanksgiving dinner in honor of the holiday. To start the meal, guests can choose from a butternut squash bisque or house mixed greens salad. The main entree features herb-roasted turkey, honey-glazed ham, sage and dried cranberry stuffing, sweet potato gratin and garlic whipped potatoes.
Dessert is a choice of apple pie, pecan pie or pumpkin pie. The dinner costs $45 for adults and $22 for children 12 and under.
