TOOELE COUNTY — A woman suffered minor injuries Sunday when her car veered off I-80 in an area near the Bonneville Salt Flats and rolled.
The accident happened just after 12 p.m. about 19 miles east of the Utah-Nevada border, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
"For some unknown reason, the vehicle veered to the right, then overcorrected to the left. The vehicle hit a dirt embankment on the left shoulder and rolled onto its side," the UHP said.
Passers-by were able to tip the car back onto its wheels before emergency crews arrived. The 33-year-old driver, whose name was not released, "sustained minor injuries to her head and neck," the UHP said. She was wearing her seat belt.
Investigators are trying to determine whether alcohol or a "possible medical episode" played a role in the crash.
