STRONG BADIA — Homestar Runner fans can now bust out their Trogdor T-shirts in celebration. After a four-year hiatus, a new Homestar Runner video was released on Friday.
During an interview on "The Jeff Rubin Jeff Rubin Show" podcast on July 7, Homestar Runner creators, Matt and Mike Chapman, said they had been “jonesing” to pick up the popular Internet series. The Chapman brothers launched homestarrunner.com in 2000, but paused work on the cartoon series in 2010 to focus on other projects.
Their “jonesing” came to fruition on Friday with the release of a new rap video, “Fish Eye Lens.” The video features Strong Bad and Coach Z making a “number one hit jam for the pyorple” (Coach Z’s way of saying people.) Tax papers, tan pants and country dish towels even look better with the “bulbous” fish-eye lens.
Naturally, the video was produced by The Cheat.
