SALT LAKE CITY — A group of musicians playing on the street at City Creek Center recently had a special guest member — a man who had spent his nights sleeping in a park.
Local entertainer Stuart Edge found Rodney and invited him to do hand percussions during a street show he was putting on with a group of friends, which included Alex Boye. The group performed a mashup of popular songs near the TRAX station at City Creek Center on Labor Day.
“He had no idea all the tips were going to him,” an intro to the video reads. “We had no idea he’d been praying for a chance to ‘begin again.’”
