GLEN CANYON NATIONAL RECREATION AREA — Tourism is exploding at this spectacular scenic attraction on the Utah-Arizona border, just downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam.

Big crowds walk along the trail and 90 percent of them are from Asia or Europe. With so many people on the trail, and without so much as one restroom, National Park Service and officials of nearby Page, Arizona, need to make several decisions to accommodate everyone.
