CHICAGO — Two Utah brothers were arrested at Chicago O’Hare International Airport Sunday.
Randy F. Lindsey, 48, of Salt Lake City, and Ricky J. Lindsey, 53, of Heber City, were arrested after they became drunk and began harassing the flight crew of a plane and resisting arrest.
The brothers were each charged with one felony count of aggravated battery and two misdemeanor counts of resisting a police officer, police told The Chicago Tribune.
The report, according to the Chicago Tribune, said that police were called at 9 p.m. Sunday to help contain the situation. The pilot on a Delta Airlines flight had refused to allow the man on the plane, and Delta workers were trying to hold the 6-foot-3 Randy Lindsey back as he lunged at the employees.
When police arrived, Ricky Lindsey, who is 6 feet 5 inches tall, yelled at and attempted to stop officers from arresting his brother, the report said.
“Even when police finally got the two brothers under control, Randy Lindsey kicked at an officer's shin while sitting on curb,” DNAinfo Chicago said
Their bond was set at $50,000 each by Cook County Judge Donald Panarese Jr.
The brothers were in town visiting Ricky Lindsey’s company, Prime Insurance, which employs more than 100 people in Illinois, according to DNAinfo Chicago.
