TAYLORSVILLE — Police are searching for a person who robbed two Conoco gas stations within 10 minutes of each other Tuesday night.
Around 8:02 p.m., police received a report of an armed robbery at the Conoco gas station located at 4700 S. 2200 West, according to Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal.
After showing a handgun and receiving an undisclosed amount of money, a person described as a man of darker complexion — possibly Hispanic — left the gas station traveling eastbound on foot.
The person then robbed the Conoco gas station located at 4800 S. Redwood Road 10 minutes later, fleeing the scene southbound with a white garbage bag full of cash, Hoyal said.
The individual is about 5 feet 4 inches tall and was wearing a black hoodie, a black ski mask and light-colored sweats.
Officers searched the surrounding areas with police dogs and were unable to find the person, Hoyal added.
No one was injured in the robberies.
Police ask that anyone with information call the Unified Police Department at 801-743-700.
More information will be posted as it becomes available.
