SALINA — Two women were seriously injured after being hit while crossing the street in Salina Tuesday, police said.

The women were crossing the street at 110 W. Main Street when a pickup driver was looking to make a turn, said Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Todd Johnson.

The driver was not looking straight ahead when he hit the two women at a slow speed, seriously injuring them, Johnson said.
