SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Jazz big man Enes Kanter spent a few days working with Karl Malone and hanging out with the Malone family in Louisiana.

With Malone taking on his new role as coach and mentor for the Jazz bigs, fans have been hoping for encounters just like this. It's just a shame there weren't television cameras rolling during the entire trip.

Four pictures of the group made the social media rounds on Twitter and Instagram. The first is from Kanter's own Twitter account:

Caught my first fish with the Mailman, it was pretty small , Can u guys even see the fish ? Lol pic.twitter.com/TnEIovCtZQ — Enes Kanter (@Enes_Kanter) August 8, 2013

This next picture was by Kylee Malone on her Twitter account:

Glad we got to hangout before you leave, see you soon! @Enes_Kanterpic.twitter.com/I1uQoIdl7L — Kylee Annie Malone (@Kylee_Annie32) August 6, 2013

Then the Mailmom, Kay Malone, joined in the fun with a picture of some Jazz coaches, Kanter and Karl getting some food:

Having my home cooked food. I took good care of him in the eating department. #southerncookingpic.twitter.com/QvFXfFKQyu — KAY MALONE (@mamail) August 6, 2013

The last picture is the actual work that was going on. Malone playing some defense on Kanter in the Cedar Creek School gym down Ruston, Louisiana:

Ok here it is because I am going to bed.. pic.twitter.com/cA2GmeGkrj — KAY MALONE (@mamail) August 6, 2013

This is just a glimpse into the life that Kanter was living. Maybe there will be more if, and when, Derrick Favors, Jeremy Evans or Rudy Gobert spend time with the Mailman.
