MAGNA — Season ticket holders have nothing on Albert Gamboa, who just finished constructing a miniature Rice Eccles Stadium football field in his home.

Gamboa, a devoted University of Utah football fan, designed and built the room to act as a stand-in for the stadium during the team's away games. He painted the astroturf carpet with yard lines, and the famous Block U logo.

"We wanted a place to relax, enjoy friends and family for all the away games. We wanted to feel like we were in the stadium," Gamboa said.

He told TornBySports that he spent about $4,500 on the room.

Gamboa and his family collected pictures from their visits to Rice Eccles, as well as team paraphernalia, which they have hung on the bright red walls surrounding the 60-inch television.
