LAS VEGAS — Salt Lake City radio station KSFI-FM, known as FM 100.3, received the National Association of Broadcasters' Crystal Radio Award on Tuesday for its outstanding year-round commitment to community service.

KSFI is one of 10 winners chosen from among 50 finalists honored in Las Vegas at the NAB trade show. This is the first time KSFI has received the award, which has been in existence since 1987.

"We are thrilled to be in the company of so many dedicated, community-minded radio stations," said Kelly Hammer, product brand manager for KSFI. "Connecting with our local community is one of FM 100.3's core values. Being recognized with a Crystal is a validation of those values and the dedication of many very talented people on our team."

"We are so fortunate to work for a company that champions us to do good work in our community," said Tami Ostmark, vice president of marketing for KSL and Bonneville International Salt Lake, which owns and operates KSFI. "We are also fortunate to have employees that not only take this to heart, but strive to achieve this every day.”

The NAB trade show, which runs through Thursday, is the world's largest electronic media show covering filmed entertainment and the development, management and delivery of content across all mediums. The National Association of Broadcasters advances radio and television interests in legislative, regulatory and public affairs.
