LEHI -- Lehi residents are full of optimism as new jobs, new businesses and new homes invade their city.
Adobe moved in to its new facility Monday, holding an employee-only grand opening. The company moved into the $100-million Lehi facility from the old Omniture campus in Orem.
In the works for two years, the new building is home to Adobe's digital marketing unit and nearly 1,000 employees.
Not far away, workers are putting the finishing touches on the new Outlets at Traverse Mountain, set to open in just ten days on Nov. 16.

"An epicenter of activity happening right here in Northern Utah County," said Lehi City administrator Derek Todd.
All this growth is thrilling for city residents and leaders. Todd says interest in encouragingly high.
"What is our economic strategy? We're trying to streamline our development process, but I think really it is about location. Lehi is the place that a lot of people want to be right now," he said.
Centrally located between Salt Lake City and Provo, Lehi is not only attracting businesses, but residents as well. That's translating into a home-building boom - 50 to 70 new houses are being built every month.
The progress comes after a few years of disappointment. The planned development at the Point of the Mountain that was to be designed by Frank Gehry dried up when the economy went bad, and other developments at Traverse Mountain took years to be realized.
Now with Adobe, the outlet mall and office complexes under construction, Lehi is riding the wave.
"We are in our own little micro economy here in Lehi," said Todd. "We have the commercial growth, the residential growth and the business growth and we're very excited about all three of those opportunities."
Xactware is now building in this area and Adobe does have expansion plans down the line. Lehi is quickly becoming a high-tech hub, and retail is taking a stronghold as well with Cabela's and the new outlet mall.
