CHARLOTTE, NC — As Democrats ready for the national convention Monday, it seems they aim to catch the spirit of the 2008 election again, when voters rallied around President Barack Obama.

The stage for that rallying, the Bank of America Stadium, holds 73,000 people waiting to be inspired again by their national leaders.

Democrats are looking to fire up voters after the Republican National Convention, but rather than focus on state leaders and rights, they will focus on the star power of national faces, particularly the House of Representatives.

They are expected to tackle high-profile problems, and gay marriage is expected to be a hot topic, as both the President and Vice President have recently taken strong stances on the issue.
