SALT LAKE CITY — Utah State University basketball player Danny Berger's condition was updated to "fair" Thursday evening, according to hospital officials.
Intermountain Medical Center released the new information via Twitter just before 5 p.m.
Earlier in the day, Berger's sister, Lauren, posted a picture on Facebook of the recuperating basketball player. Berger was holding his jersey and giving a thumbs up to the camera.
Berger collapsed at practice Tuesday afternoon and had to be revived by Utah State University emergency personnel using a defibrillator. The 22-year-old was transported to Logan Regional, but was later moved to Intermountain Healthcare, where he remained Thursday.
Wednesday's game against Brigham Young University was postponed due to the incident and has not yet been rescheduled.
Berger's family released a statement Wednesday saying things "are looking good," and thanking athletic trainer Mike Williams.
"He saved my brother's life, and I thank God for him," John Berger, the shooting guard's brother, said.
