Press ReleaseSALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah men's basketball team finalized the dates of its entire schedule Friday as the Mountain West Conference office released the league pairings.
The Runnin' Utes kick off their MWC schedule at home with a 1:30 p.m. matchup against TCU on Saturday, Jan. 9, at the Jon M. Huntsman Center.
Utah will play all of its MWC games on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with the exception of a Tuesday night contest in Salt Lake City against San Diego State. Tipoff is slated for 8 p.m. MT.
The first of the two Deseret First Duel competitions between Utah and BYU will take place in Provo on Saturday, Jan. 30, at 7 p.m., and will be televised live on The Mtn. The Runnin' Utes will host the Cougars in their final home game of the regular season on Wednesday, March 3, at 7 p.m., live on CBS College Sports.
Utah will play an exhibition game against Findlay (Ohio), the reigning NCAA Div. II national champion, on Saturday, Nov. 7. The Runnin' Utes' first regular-season game will be played Friday, Nov. 13, at home against the Idaho Vandals.
