SALT LAKE CITY -- One day after working out Utah favorite Jimmer Fredette and potential Top 5 draft pick Kemba Walker, the Utah Jazz saw the young Brandon Knight show himself off in a one-on-zero workout, just as he has done in his other NBA workouts.

Knight wanted to show the Jazz what he could do and his abilities in shooting the basketball, use pick and roll, change speeds and handle the basketball.

Knight was confident he had a good workout.

"I thought it went pretty good. I hit a lot of shots, did a lot of great things and I think I had a pretty good show and am really confident in what I did," said Knight. "I always work hard no matter where I go, so I'm confident about the workout."

Knight said the Jazz coaches worked him through pick and roll drills, spot shots, finishing with his left hand, some left hand speed dribbling and left handed jump shots.

Jazz Head Coach Tyrone Corbin only had great things to say about Knight following the workout.

"He showed himself very well, he did a really good job," said Corbin. "He's a smart kid, as everybody knows academically, and he's done very well over his life. He's a mirror image of what he seems to be on tape."

With the loss of Deron Williams and despite the play of Devin Harris, the Jazz may be still looking to bring in a point guard.

Knight could be one of them although Corbin refused to comment directly, but did say, "There's a lot of good talent out there, good, young talent and he's a young kid so looking at the future if you get a chance to get one of these guys it's going to be bright."

Knights camp has only allowed him to participate in solo workouts and Knight says he can't disagree because they believe it's the best thing to do.

"I'm a competitor. I wouldn't mind working out against anybody," said Knight. "Kentucky played against the best of the best all the time. You don't go to Kentucky not to do that if you're not a competitor and confident in what you do, so I'm definitely confident in what I do and I'm just trying to be strategic and listen to what my camp says to do, just being smart about it."

Although Knight has only been able to show himself in solo workouts, he is confident he's able to show what he can bring to any NBA team and says that, "Just knowing that I'm competing with everyone else, even though there is no one here. I'm going hard by myself, taking it serious, pushing myself, showing the people who are working me out that I'm serious about what I do."

Knight also addressed the rumors that he has concerns about playing for the Jazz and said, "It seems like a great place. Great point guards have been here and done a great job so it would be a place I'd love to be. I don't know where that rumor came from, but that's not true at all."

Many mock drafts have pinpointed the Jazz picking Knight, but Knight says those don't matter.

"It's really up to these guys, if they're saying it then that's when I'll take it serious. Until the Jazz say it serious to me, that's when I'll take is serious, but when a mock draft says it you never know how it might turn out so I don't really listen to those."

With the draft just one week away, and still two more pre-draft workouts scheduled for this upcoming Sunday and Monday, the Utah Jazz will have some big decisions to make and have to sift through the many players they've brought in so far.

In the four workouts they've done they've seen a total of 17 players.

Corbin says with the more players they see, the harder the decision is becoming. "It's only getting more cloudy," Corbin said laughing. "The more guys you see, it gets a little more confusing, but that's a good thing."
