BALTIMORE (AP) — A group of cyclists is completing a ride from Newtown, Connecticut, to the nation's capital to promote legislation to stem gun violence.
The 26 cyclists -- who call themselves Team 26 -- will complete a four-day journey on Tuesday from the site of Sandy Hook Elementary, where 20 students and six educators were massacred in 2012.
The two-wheelers say the trip is meant to honor the victims, and to spread a message of peace, hope and love.
Sound: upcoming
