Orem fire caused $1M in damage, could be arson

OREM, Utah (AP) — Investigators are on the scene of a Friday morning fire at an unfinished Orem condominium complex that appears to have been intentionally set.

Orem Fire Battalion Chief Ryan Peterson says the fire was reported about 2:30 a.m. and extinguished the fire several hours later.

No injuries were reported in the fire.

Peterson says the damage is estimated at $1 million.

Officials are still investigating the blaze.
