POST FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A 40-year-old northern Idaho educator police say sent nude photos of herself to a 16-year-old male high school student has been issued a misdemeanor citation.
The Coeur d'Alene Press reports (http://bit.ly/1z4eIsI) in a story on Friday that the citation received by Bobbi Deitz is for sending harmful material to a minor.
Post Falls School District Superintendent Jerry Keane says Deitz as of last week was no longer employed at Seltice Elementary.
Post Falls Police Chief Scot Haug says Deitz told police detectives she had been drinking when she sent the images earlier this month.
Haug says the student's parents are aware of the photos and were in the middle of dealing with it with their son.
Deitz was the district's Educational Support Person of the Year in 2011-2012.
