SLIDELL, La. (AP) — Delgado Community College holds a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new annex at Delgado Northshore-Slidell.
The New Orleans Advocate reports (http://bit.ly/1ln37u9 ) Tuesday's ceremony will mark the college's increase in classrooms and labs by 50 percent. The annex also houses faculty offices, a quiet study area for students and a Learning Emporium, a place to support multiple student learning styles. It also aids access to student parking in the rear of the main building.
In addition to the annex, officials say a new Small Business Center is scheduled to open in August.
