LAS VEGAS (AP) — A defense lawyer says a Las Vegas physician will plead not guilty today to 32 felony counts accusing him of drugging and sexually assaulting patients. Binh Minh "Ben" Chung is also accused of making video recordings of himself having sex with at least one underage girl. Chung's medical license was suspended after his arrest June 20.

CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Sheriff's officials have identified a body found two weeks ago in the waters of a Carson City fishing pond. Sheriff Ken Furlong says man found dead Sept. 23 at Bailey's Pond was 46-year-old Carson City resident Carl Braziel. Furlong said the cause of death hasn't yet been determined, but foul play doesn't appear to be involved. Furlong said Braziel was somewhat transient and may have been staying nearby.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Los Angeles nightlife mogul Sam Nazarian who turned the Sahara hotel and casino into the SLS Las Vegas is selling his 10 percent stake in the struggling property to his business partner on the project. The deal makes Stockbridge Capital Group the 100 percent owner of SLS Las Vegas. Nazarian stepped aside from managing the SLS after being grilled in December about past drug use and business dealings by Nevada casino regulators.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — UNLV President Len Jessup is scheduled to join a Tesla officials and Gov. Brian Sandoval today to announce a formal research partnership with the electric car company. Tesla is planning on funding the research, which will focus on battery manufacturing. Nevada lawmakers approved nearly $1.3 billion in tax incentives last year to attract the car company to the state.
