Age: 10
Hair: Red
Eyes: Brown
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 150 lbs

He attends Sarah Jane Adams Elementary at 2200 East 2500 North in Layton. His father went to the front of the school to pick him up after school, but the boy left from the back of the school, and never arrived home. Police want to talk to anyone who saw the boy after school.

All of his family members and friends have been contacted, and still there is no information on his whereabouts.

Tonight a helicopter is searching overhead, and people are going door-to-door looking for him.

Sgt. Mark Chatlin, Layton Police Dept.: "We have an estimated 200 volunteers that are helping us with a grid search in the area. An Air Med helicopter is in the air using thermal imaging and other technology to search all the wooded areas, gullies and pond areas."

At this point police have no indication of what may have happened to the boy. Officers are not issuing an Amber Alert because there is no information to lead them to believe he's in danger. Still, police plan to search for him through the night.

If you have any information, please call the Layton City Police Department at (801) 497-8300.
