SALT LAKE COUNTY -- Salt Lake County wants to help residents make their homes more energy efficient.

Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon says it would help people lower their long-term energy costs.

If the bill passes, the Salt Lake Tribune says county leaders would want to make loans available sometime this year.
