WEST BOUNTIFUL -- West Bountiful police are looking for a robber who used a skateboard to get away.
Police say the manager of the Café Rio at 235 S. 500 West in West Bountiful was walking a bag of bank deposits to her car around 10:20 a.m. Saturday. A man on a skateboard went speeding by, grabbed the bag of cash and kept boarding past.
The Standard Examiner reports police are still looking for the thief. No description was available. They say the bag contained about $2,700.
Investigators say this is the first case they've had in which a robber used a skateboard to get away.
