When it comes to making decisions around the home, a new study says women take the lead but men don't seem to mind.
When it comes to planning weekend activities, household finances, major home purchases and watching TV, who's in charge?
Pew researchers say 43 percent of the couples they interviewed say it's the woman who decides; 26 percent say it's the men.
But BYU Associate Family Life Professor E. Jeffery Hill says he's encouraged by the other number.
"It's evidence of greater partnership at home, and that bodes well for marriage," he said.
Thirty-one percent of the couples responding say decisions are shared, even though that wasn't an option on the survey. So Hill believes the actual number to be higher.
He adds it's fine to split up the decision making at home among partners as long as both agree on who is in charge of what.
