(KSL News) Last night's severe weather knocked down 13 power poles, cutting electricity off for 2,300 customers between Beaver and Minersville.
The wooden transmission poles had been supporting a 46,000-volt power line.
After working through the night and today, crews from around the state were able to restore power to all but 500 customers.
Rocky Mountain Power officials say the extent of the damage and the muddy working conditions may mean another day before power is completely restored.
