CEDAR CITY — The body found on a rural road near Cedar City was identified Tuesday.

Friday, deputies from the Iron County Sheriff's Office received reports of a "suspicious circumstance" on Tipple Road around two miles south of Cedar City. The deputies discovered the body of a deceased female near the side of the road, police said.

After further investigation, the woman has been identified as Cammi Denee Miller, 33. Police said Miller is a "long-time resident of Iron County."

The cause of Miller's death has not yet been determined and the investigation is still ongoing.
