(KSL News) DNA from accused murderer Floyd Maestas was found under the fingernails of the woman he is on trial for killing.
Yesterday, a forensics expert testified that DNA from flesh found under the fingernails of Donna Lou Bott matched that of Maestas. He also said it excluded two other men with Maestas at the time of the murder.
Lawyers for Maestas have claimed the other two could have committed the murder.
Maestas is standing trial for aggravated murder. If convicted, he could face the death penalty.
