(KSL News) Utah lags behind the rest of the nation when it comes to women's health care. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say women in the state fall behind when it comes to preventative health measures such as screenings for breast and cervical cancer, as well as routine check-ups.
The University of Utah is hoping to change the trend, though, and will host a Women's Health Fair on Thursday at the Madsen Health Center located at 555 S. Foothill Blvd. in Salt Lake City from 5:30 to 7:30 in the evening. Women can get tips on improving physical and mental health as well as preventing illness.
