SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah drivers with cars powered by natural gas have a new place to fill up.
A new natural gas fueling station at 4285 W. 1385 South was funded by a government grant worth nearly $15 million. The rest of the money will help build 16 new natural gas stations and upgrade 24 others.
"This whole goal of this is actually to bring in less pollution. If we can't change people's driving habits, at least get them into clean cars," says Carrie Giles, director of Utah Clean Cities.
A gasoline gallon equivalent of natural gas costs only 93 cents per gallon.
