PROVO — For anyone who rocked out at Velour while Imagine Dragons was in its beginning stages, prepare to be hit with a wave of nostalgia — the band is returning to Provo.

Imagine Dragons is kicking off its album release by going back to some of the cities where they first started out. During their Destination Dragons tour, the band will perform in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Las Vegas and Provo, according to an announcement Tuesday. Afterward, they will promote their album, "Smoke and Mirrors" with a full tour.

“As the original stomping grounds for several Imagine Dragons members, Utah is the source of inspiration for the organic songwriting that is the backbone of the band,” according to the Destination Dragons website.

The tour kicks off in Los Angeles on Feb. 20 and the grammy-award winning band will be playing at Velour Feb. 21. Details about the time of the concert and how to purchase tickets will be made available on the Destination Dragons website.

The band recently made headlines after partnering with Southwest Airlines to perform a concert at 35,000 feet for a few lucky fans during their Destination Dragons tour. The in-flight concert will be held on a flight from Las Vegas to Atlanta.
