and northeastern Box Elder Counties through 845 PM MDT

At 756 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles east of Howell to near Bear River City. Movement was northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include... Logan, Tremonton, Cache, Smithfield, Wellsville, Bear River City, Clarkston, Trenton, Plymouth, Benson, Peter, Riverside, Nibley, Garland, Honeyville, Mendon, Elwood, Newton, Amalga, and Fielding.
This includes the following highways... Interstate 15 between mile markers 371 and 394. Interstate 84 between mile markers 29 and 42.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for northern Utah.
