Explore and process your grief using the Japanese art of Kintsugi—"golden repair." Kintsugi embraces the beauty of imperfection and the history of damage ceramics with a lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold. In this unique, hands-on workshop.

Accessible parking is available in parking lots on the west  of the building off 400 East and on the east of the building off of 500 East.

Registration & What to Bring

Registration Fee:

South Salt Lake Residents: $20

Non-Residents: $60

Materials: All Kintsugi art materials are provided for the course.

Personal Items (Optional):

You are welcome to bring a specific bowl or ceramic item you would like to use for the Kintsugi process.

If you have a cherished journal, you may wish to bring it for the guided writing exercises.

Scholarships: A limited number of scholarships are available through the Roan Williams McClain Foundation. For information on applying, please contact arts@sslc.gov.
