We had a wonderful day at Strawberry, and the weather was great. The big swimbaits didn't catch anything, but they told us where the fish were.
What we had to do was go to a tube gig. We used a white gig with an 8-ounce weight in it, put a little piece of nightcrawler on it, threw it out and let it drift down to the fish. The breeze was just enough that it made a nice drift. Then we shut the motor off and drifted back through them.
