Kylie Minogue named best dressed female

LONDON, Jan 9, 2007 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Glamour Magazine has dethroned model Kate Moss and named Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue this year's best-dressed female.

Minogue was given the top spot for her new sophisticated look after recovering from breast cancer, the BBC reported Tuesday.

"We've seen a newer, softer-looking Kylie," said Glamour editor Jo Elvin, who also praised her "classic personal style."

Moss fell to fourth place, while her boyfriend, singer Pete Doherty, was named the No. 1 worst dressed male.

Victoria Beckham was given the No. 2 spot on the list of best-dressed females for her fearless approach.

Other women on list were Gwen Stefani, Sienna Miller and Rachel Bilson.

Footballer Steven Gerrard's fiancÃ©, Alex Curran, was named the worst dressed female, followed closely by model Jodie Marsh, Beyonce and Britney Spears.
