These are the staple shades of green for spring... and beyond!
Red wasn't the only standout color at the Oscar's Red Carpet on Sunday. We couldn't help but notice women going GREEN. Kate Hudson, Demi Moore, it was a surprising trend of the night. But actually, if you've been following fashion trends, it's not very surprising at all. Elle Magazine is calling green the color of spring. So in honor of St. Patrick's Day KSL Lifestyle Contributor Daylan Dove helped us green-ify our closests. She shared the three shades of green every woman should try this spring, or this year.
Sage Green – The Soft Neutral
Daylan said sage green is a great place to start. "If you're nervous about green, start with sage. It's soft, flattering and wears like a neutral," she explained. How to identify it: A soft, muted green with gray undertones, often labeled sage or eucalyptus.

Emerald Green – The Statement Shade
Daylan said emerald green is the shade to pick when you want a pop of color. "Emerald is the power color of green. It makes any outfit feel polished," she said. How to identify it: A rich, vibrant jewel-toned green, often labeled emerald or jewel green.

Olive Green – The Everyday Classic
Daylan said olive green might be the most wearable of all the greens. "Olive is the most wearable green. It goes with almost everything," she said. How to identify it: An earthy green with brown undertones, often labeled olive or army green.
