Nothing beats biting into a warm, ooey-gooey cinnamon roll and licking the frosting off your fingers. By and large, it's America's favorite breakfast pastry. Statista calculated that 67.46 million Americans consumed cinnamon rolls in 2020.
And yet, many Americans haven't experienced the ultimate, perfect cinnamon roll because they haven't tried WannaCinn — a new, family-owned business that provides extremely high-quality, multi-flavored cinnamon rolls at a reasonable price. How it started
The idea for WannaCinn was hatched at a kitchen table with a group of close friends on March 3, 2022. But really, it started long before then. David Sickich had been experimenting and refining the perfect cinnamon roll for well over a decade. After some convincing, everyone decided it was time to introduce the world to a scratch-made, artisan and high-quality cinnamon roll. Shortly thereafter, they had a roll, a box, an official brand name and a quick expansion plan with a national feel.
"We anticipate a strong entry into this market quickly growing nationally," WannaCinn's website states. "WannaCinn and its founders have spent years developing a product that is poised to capture and reignite the interest in America's favorite sweet roll."
A friend of Dave's suggested the name WannaCinn as a playful pun for something so good it's almost sinful. They even serve these "Cinns" up with a tiny plastic pitchfork so you can indulge without getting your hands dirty.
How it's going
It's been less than a year and WannaCinn is swiftly expanding statewide with plans to branch out nationally. After opening the first store at Mountain View Village in Riverton last August, the company recently opened a new store at Station Park in Farmington, delivering even more sweetness to northern Utah. But southern Utah will soon get a taste of it. By the start of the 2023 summer season, they hope to open their third store at Red Cliffs Mall in St. George.
Company culture plays an important role
A key ingredient to WannaCinn's success is the emphasis they place on company culture. WannaCinn's model has been designed from the ground up to include an innovative baking process, a sensational experience for customers and a well-trained team.
