If the mountains are calling and you must go – be sure you've got your IKON pass ready. This season, don't miss your chance to experience the world-renowned Snowbasin Resort, located just 20 minutes from Ogden and 45 minutes from Salt Lake City.

For IKON pass holders, Snowbasin is a no-brainer. During the 2022-2023 season, an IKON Pass gets you seven days of incredible skiing or snowboarding at the resort, while IKON Base Plus Pass holders can enjoy five days of exploration. If you need any convincing, here are just a few reasons to take your winter game up north.

Less hassle, more fun

When you have to park miles away and then catch a bus to hit the slopes, you can lose a whole lot of prime skiing time. At Snowbasin, you've got more than 3,000 skiable acres of legendary terrain and more free parking than any other resort in the state. Once parked, a quick shuttle takes you right to the lifts. Plus, if you carpooled with three or more friends, you can skip to the front of the parking lot each weekend and enjoy the luxury parking of Earl's lot A or B.

World-class lifts

Speaking of lifts, you're sure to have an elevated lift experience at Snowbasin. The resort has invested in one of the most advanced lift systems available, including two gondolas, one tram, four express lifts, two chairlifts, two carpets and a handle tow. In fact, Ski Magazine ranked Snowbasin as one of the best and fastest lift systems in 2022 – so you'll spend less time in line and more time shredding with your crew.

All the terrain

Whether you're a newbie or a tried-and-true ski bum, you'll find the terrain of champions at Snowbasin – literally. As a host for the 2002 Olympics, Snowbasin challenges even the most seasoned skiers and boarders with cliff and peak-side black diamonds, wide-open bowls and legendary Olympic runs. If black diamonds aren't for you, the expanded learning zone and family-friendly groomers are perfect for beginner and intermediate levels.

Scenic and cozy downtime

Warming up in-between runs has never looked – or tasted – so good. Snowbasin's immaculate lodges are conveniently located across the property so, no matter where your run ends, you know there's a cozy sofa and a rich cup of hot chocolate close by. Warm up by the fireplace, refresh in the clean, beautiful bathrooms or simply pause to admire the awe-inspiring mountain and valley views.

Foodie heaven

Everything tastes better after a few hours on the slopes, but Snowbasin's various menus would hold their own regardless. Ranked by Ski Magazine among the best food in the industry, you'll enjoy any of the resort's six dining options across the property. From specialty cocktails and signature grilled cheeses to local brews and brick oven pizza, you can enjoy fine dining, quick comfort food and everything in between at Snowbasin.

Calling all IKONs

If you're new to Snowbasin, it's time to see what you've been missing – and your IKON pass is the perfect way to do it. Whether you've got five or seven days, you'll want to make every minute count at this world-class resort. With plenty of lodging options nearby, Snowbasin is also the perfect destination for a quick and easy getaway.
