Even though the first signs of spring are blooming through the recent snowfall, it's not time to pack away your ski and boarding gear quite yet. This week's late winter storms have brought some of the best powder to Utah's mountains. If you're itching to get back outside and on the slopes, now is the best time—especially because it could be free.
Snowbasin is offering free rest-of-season skiing and boarding for those who buy a 2022-2023 season pass. In addition to free slope time, you can also score a few more perks.
The perks
To take advantage of peak slope conditions through the rest of the season, you'll need to purchase next season's Premier Pass or Value Pass before the resort closes in April. Not only will you get more than a month of free ski time, but you'll also get the best price on your pass for next year. The resort anticipates closing April 10th, and they guarantee you'll get the best price on season passes until then.
Additionally, Snowbasin now has a suite of passes, including two new pass partnerships with Ikon and The Mountain Collective. Premier Pass holders receive 50% off tickets at Mountain Collective Resorts, making this a great option if you want to experience new terrain.
Snowbasin's new Premier Platinum Pass—which includes an Ikon Base Pass—allows you to explore even more of Utah's ski opportunities. Those with a Premier Pass will also get five days of slope time at Sun Valley in Idaho next season.
But you don't have to wait until next season to use your pass—you can experience the beauty of Snowbasin in the summer for hiking and biking activities, too.
For more information about the full value of these passes, visit Snowbasin's website.

About the slopes
Ranked the No. 8 ski resort in Ski Magazine's 2021-22 reader's Choice resort rankings, Snowbasin is consistently at the top of the list for ski destinations. The resort is one of the oldest continually operated ski resorts in North America, and with 3,000 skiable acres, you could spend a lifetime carving out every inch of the resort's slopes.
In 2020-21, Snowbasin was ranked No. 2 for lifts, No. 3 for grooming and guest service, and No. 8 for dining in Ski Magazine's rankings—so you know you'll have an all-around great experience skiing through the "Best Snow On Earth."
There is even more to enjoy at Snowbasin this season, as the resort added a new high-speed six-person lift at Middle Bowl, increasing uphill capability. Plus, they expanded parking with the addition of 350 stalls added to the Maples and Canyon Rim parking areas. You won't have to waste precious outdoor time driving around looking for a spot to park.
Snowbasin has received over 200 inches of snow so far this season, making this time of year a great time to ride the slopes! All 12 of the resort's lifts are open, providing additional access and powder routes for all guests to enjoy. With two gondolas, one tram, four high-speed lifts, and five additional lifts, there are no limits to accessing the 3,000 acres that make-up Snowbasin.
