Volkswagen's latest design elements from the forward-thinking ID.4 and iconic GTI have carried over to the new 2022 Tiguan. These modern and attractive styling cues are apparent with new LED headlights and taillights, the grille and wheels. Buyers will have the choice between 17 and 20-inch wheels, as well as a myriad of vibrant colors to choose from, including Kings Red and Oryx White.
The interior of the Volkswagen Tiguan has also received some nice upgrades. The steering wheel has undergone a complete redesign and an eight-inch digital gauge cluster now comes standard on each trim level. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard features on every trim but the base level.
Depending on trim level, other features include Volkswagen's new touch-sensitive climate controls, heated front seats, a 10.3-inch digital gauge cluster, air-conditioned seats and a brown leather interior.

Like the 2021 Tiguan, the 2022 model will run on a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine. Producing 184 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque, the 2022 Tiguan is fun-to-drive and one of the best-performing SUVs in the VW line-up. Volkswagen has also done an excellent job with packaging, as the Tiguan's interior comfort, storage and space belies its compact size.
