Spring is a time where the earth awakens from its wintery slumber, animals begin to resume their activities and there is life and excitement throughout the area.

Spring is arriving at Ruby's Inn, located near the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park. There is anticipation as activities begin to resume around March 24 that will continue throughout the summer for visitors to enjoy and make lasting memories with friends and family.

Ruby's Inn strives to provide everything families need to make their trip one they always remember. The resort offers an activities desk, available to answer questions and guide adventurers on how to best spend their precious vacation time to make the most of their trip. Ruby's Inn is not only a destination in and of itself, but it is also surrounded by a national park, a national monument and a national forest.

As the snow melts and gives way to the warmer spring weather, now is the perfect time to get outside. There are many open spaces for social distancing at Ruby's Inn, especially during the week.

No matter how you enjoy the outdoors, Ruby's has you covered. There are plenty of beautiful hiking, biking and ATVing trails around Ruby's Inn surrounded by the fragrant Ponderosa Pines and stunning overlooks of Bryce Canyon.

ATVing

Rev up your engines and start climbing the rugged terrain on ATV. Choose from multiple trails offering scenic views and thrilling rides. Want a guide to show you all the best paths? Take a guided ATV tour around the Rim of Bryce Canyon.

Hiking

Hiking into Bryce Canyon, visitors can get up close and personal with the different rock formations. Thor's Hammer is a popular hoodoo inside the national park. The Rim Trail is a great hiking trail that gives hikers the main amphitheater from above. The entire 5.5-mile trail runs from Fairyland Point to Bryce Point, and has several steep elevation changes, but is well worth the effort it takes to hike.

Biking

On August 28, Ruby's Inn will hold the Canyon 2 Canyon family bike ride event. The 17-mile bike ride will wind its way from Inspiration Point inside Bryce Canyon National Park and end at Red Canyon. The paved biking path is world-class, so be sure to take your bike, or rent one, including electric bikes at Ruby's Inn.

The horseback rides are good for all ages (7+), as riders are guided into and out of the canyon. This trip will be remembered for years to come, especially if you ride at sunset.

Ebenezer's Barn and Grill live country music dinner show

After a day outside, Ebenezer's Barn and Grill, a Ruby's Inn favorite, which opens in mid-April, is the perfect place to eat and enjoy "Branson Style" family-friendly entertainment, including modern country music by the Bryce Canyon Wranglers.
