Convention Day 2

After the rather low-key, abbreviated start yesterday, the convention seemed to kick into high-gear this morning. Doug could not even stop to take his breath between speaking engagements that came one after another after another. Included in the long line of those wanting to speak to Doug in order to get their message out to constituents, were Utah Senator Orrin Hatch and Utah Governor, Jon Huntsman Jr. and First Lady Mary Kay Huntsman. It was great to hear the message these great leaders had to project. Senator Hatch made an excellent point. “If people back home could see what we do back in Washington, they would think differently about the job we do.”
