Details remain murky about what happened Sunday to Caleb Thomas Schwab on the 168-foot-tall slide at Schlitterbahn Waterpark in Kansas City.

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Police in Greeneville, Tennessee, say three people who fell 30 to 45 feet from a Ferris wheel are responsive and answering questions. A police detective says the oldest of the three who fell from the ride at a county fairground is a 16-year-old-girl.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — An Alabama judicial panel is refuing to dismiss an ethics complaint against Chief Justice Roy Moore. The Alabama Court of the Judiciary says that Moore will go to trial in September on accusations that he urged 68 probate judges to defy the federal courts on same-sex marriage.

TOKYO (AP) — More than 1,000 people spent the night at Narita airport outside Tokyo because of the computer shutdown that halted Delta Air Lines flights worldwide. Flights were resuming Tuesday morning at Narita, but a Delta spokeswoman says some more delays were expected. The shutdown, triggered by a power outage at a Delta facility in the U.S., stranded many passengers in Japan.
